ADDON+'s proposal for the new research centre's extensive
program is designed to integrate the buildings
into the landscape in order to
create a human scale and promote navigation for visitors and staff.
The centre is divided into blocks according to labs
creating courtyards and
public meeting points shaded from the harsh climate.
These blocks are also protected by a special
design shadowing skin facade.
